DAVENPORT, Iowa — Update:
The suspected porch pirate has turned himself in to the authorities, according to the Davenport Police Department.
The man, now identified as 20-year-old Chandelor Amos, was allegedly involved in a series of thefts from residences throughout Davenport from Nov. 15 to Nov. 25.
He turned himself in on Wednesday, Nov. 30, less than 24 hours after he was captured on surveillance video and made known to the public by the police.
Police said the value of all of the stolen property totaled between $1,500 and $10,000 but did not provide more specific amounts.
Amos has been charged with second-degree theft in reference to over ten theft incidents.
The investigation remains ongoing, and no further information is currently available.

Davenport police are asking for help in the search for a porch pirate who allegedly struck multiple times over Thanksgiving weekend.
According to the Davenport Police Department, the man was spotted on the 4400 block of Spring Street on Nov. 25. and the 2000 block of Eastern Ave on Nov. 26 stealing multiple packages from porches.
He was also spotted with a vehicle, which appears to be a dark-colored SUV.
