A hypnotherapist is accused of sexually exploiting a patient at a Davenport alternative healing office.
Court records show Victor Saldivar, 64, of Davenport, is charged with one count of sexual exploitation by a counselor or therapist. The charge is a felony.
The Quad City Times reports Saldivar is accused of engaging in sexual conduct with an “ emotionally dependent patient” at his office between April 3 and June 7, 2013.
Jail records show Saldivar spent less than an hour in the Scott County Jail before he was released in lieu of $5,000 bond posted Tuesday, July 23, 2013.
Saldivar's connection to them was removed from websites associated with the therapy group where he practiced.
