MOLINE, Ill. — On Monday, Dec. 4, around 7 a.m., Moline firefighters responded to an active structure fire.
When first responders arrived on the scene, two residents of the mobile home had already evacuated and smoke could be seen coming from the structure. The fire took about 10 minutes to extinguish. The structure had working smoke detectors.
The Red Cross has been brought in to assist in relocating the residents involved in the incident.
Investigators from the Moline Fire Department Bureau of Investigations are currently investigating the incident.
