Aldi grocery chain opens third Davenport location

The store will hold a ribbon cutting at 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 7, with gift bags available for the first 100 customers.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — Low-cost grocery chain Aldi opened its third location in Davenport at 3463 W. Kimberly Road and is holding a ribbon cutting on Thursday, Dec. 7 at 8:30 a.m.

This location is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day. The first 100 customers after the ribbon cutting will receive a gift bag with samples of Aldi-brand products and a gift card. 

Aldi will also hold a sweepstakes for a $500 Aldi gift card from Dec. 7 to 10 to celebrate the ribbon cutting.

The store offers fresh produce delivered daily, a selection of cheese and wine and food accommodating a variety of diets. Curbside pickup and delivery will also be available. 

This is the seventh Aldi location in the Quad Cities. The stores can also be found in Bettendorf, Rock Island, Moline and Silvis.
