DAVENPORT, Iowa — One person is dead after a high-speed traffic crash in Davenport.
First responders were called to the intersection of 5th and Brady Streets around 9:40 p.m. Wednesday.
A press release from Davenport police says a 25-year-old male was riding a motorcycle northbound on Brady when he was struck by an SUV heading westbound on 5th Street.
The driver of an SUV involved in the incident, a 24-year-old female was uninjured when officials arrived at the scene.
At this time law enforcement is withholding the names of the people involved. The Davenport Police Department Traffic Safety Unit is currently investigating the incident.
