'He was so loved by many' | Sister of Georgia shooting victim shares heartfelt plea

The fundraiser set up for 14-year-old Christian Angulo, who died in the tragic shooting, shared details about his life, asking for community help in his burial.

WINDER, Ga. — An online fundraiser set up for one of the victims in the deadly Apalachee High School shooting Wednesday in Barrow County shows the impact the tragedy has made on their family's lives and beyond.

The fundraiser set up for 14-year-old Christian Angulo, who died in the tragic shooting, shared details about his life, asking for community help in his burial.

"He was a very good kid, very sweet, and so caring. He was so loved by many. His loss was so sudden and unexpected. We are truly heartbroken. He really didn’t deserve this," the fundraiser, set up by Lisette Angulo, Christian's sister, said in part.

Parent Angie Adams said that Christian was in her daughter's 7th and 8th grade class and that everyone is in shock.

"She was just telling me how sweet Christian was to everyone and how so many liked him," Adams said about her daughter. "He had a lot of friends. Praying for all of their loved ones. Praying for all the students and teachers who witnessed this. Praying for strength and healing for all involved. We are still in shock."

The fundraiser aimed to raise $30,000 to cover her brother's funeral expenses. It has surpassed its goal, with donations continuing to pour in from across the community and beyond.

"We appreciate anything you can give. We also would appreciate any prayers at this time," Lisette Angulo said.
