DAVENPORT, Iowa — Those who utilize TMBC at the Lincoln Center are the focus of a community food drive organized by Ascentra Credit Union and the center itself.
Starting on Nov. 1 and ending on Nov. 15, Ascentra will be collecting items needed for Thanksgiving food boxes to go along with its donations of turkey, milk, butter and bread rolls.
Items in need include:
- Canned green beans.
- Canned corn.
- Canned sweet potatoes.
- Stuffing mix.
- Cake mix.
- Frosting.
- Canned cranberry sauce.
- Cornbread mix.
- Boxed mac & cheese.
- Instant mashed potatoes.

Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:
- 2339 53rd Avenue, Bettendorf.
- 2019 Grant Street, Bettendorf.
- 1515 West 53rd Street, Davenport.
- 1800 Brady Street, Davenport.
- 1710 West 3rd Street, Davenport.
Ascentra will also host a food collection event on Nov. 9 at its home office from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. That'll be located at 2019 Grant St. in downtown Bettendorf. Donators will be able to drop off their supplies via drive-up without exiting their car.
Once all of the donations are collected, they will be boxed up and sent out to families in need by the Lincoln Center in Davenport on Nov. 18.
