Several part-time and some full-time jobs have become available within the City of Muscatine, according to the city's communications manager Kevin Jenison.
The openings are in the Parks and Recreation Department, the Housing Department, the Fire Department, and the Transit Division of the city. They range from dispatch, secretarial, and custodial work to seasonal jobs like groundskeeping, lifeguarding, supervising, and other clerical work.
Jenison said most of the positions come available regularly since they are seasonal, but there have been some retirements that prompted openings.
