MUSCATINE, Iowa — The day after Halloween marks the official start of the rush of holiday shopping. And with Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, people will be out in droves to find those perfect gifts for their families.
The Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce and Industry is kicking off its holiday season by hosting its annual holiday open house.
Over 20 businesses, including bakers, brewers, and boutiques, will be extending their normal hours to allow residents and visitors an opportunity to shop small. Each business will have exclusive deals for shoppers to partake in while they walk through downtown Muscatine.
The holiday open house will start at noon on Sunday, Nov. 12, and last until 4 p.m. A full list of participating businesses can be found on the City of Muscatine's website.
