DES MOINES, Iowa — The Play Nintendo Tour will make a stop in West Des Moines this summer, organizers announced Tuesday.
The tour will take place at the Jordan Creek Town Center, beginning July 11 through July 14. It comes as the Play Nintendo Tour is bringing beloved characters such as Mario, Princess Peach, Donkey Kong and Pikachu across the country.
This free, family-friendly adventure will feature photo-ops, giveaways, Nintendo Switch game demos, puzzles, quizzes and more.
Here's a list of just a few of the possible activities that will be available to visitors, according to a press release:
- Snap a picture at the Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD game phot-op
- Play a demo of the Princess Peach: Showtime! game
- Enjoy the Super Mario Bros. Wonder game demo with friends and family
- Rev up you engines to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass DLC
- Learn about Pokémon that can be encountered in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games
While attending the event, visitors will be given a Nintendo Tour passport, allowing them to collect stickers by participating in various activities throughout the three-day event.
Attendees with a Nintendo account can check in to the event with My Nintendo to receive a Super Mario theme gift item while supplies last, as well as 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points.
