Rock Island-based community center offering free meal Christmas Day

Not everyone has a place to go for the holidays, Clock Inc. is offering you a place that's safe for everyone to enjoy.

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — This Christmas, people will gather with their friends and loved ones, but for those who maybe don't have a place to go, or maybe want to gather and make a few new friends along the way, Clock Inc. in Rock Island has an option for you.

On Christmas day from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Clock Inc. will host a community meal. Clock will provide the meal and the beverages, and guests are asked to bring a dish to pass. 

Clock Inc. is located at 4102 46th Avenue in Rock Island, Illinois.

Guests are asked to RSVP, so the organization can plan on how much food to purchase. You can register for Clockmas by clicking here.

Clock Inc. also offers programs year round for people in the LGBTQ+ community such as groups, counseling, training, workshops, and a clothing closet.                       

The groups include and LGBT+ middle school group, high school group, adult transgender / nonbinary group, youth transgender nonbinary group, and parents group.                             

Clock also offers individual, couple and family counseling which range from 30 to 60 minute sessions.

Clock's clothing closet offers "a safe space where transgender & nonbinary people can browse, try on, and take home gender-affirming clothing for free, without fear of judgement or harassment," according to Clock's website.
