Summer concert series around the Quad Cities

Enjoy warm summer evenings with live music at multiple venues throughout the Quad Cities area!

DAVENPORT, Iowa — Summer is upon us and that means outdoor live music across the Quad Cities region. Catch local performers at multiple picturesque venues around town. 

Here's a running list of concerts by location:

Bettendorf

Bettendorf Public Library Summer Concert Series

This 10-week event began Thursday, June 6, and takes place every Thursday night through August 15, with the exception of July 4 due to other festivities taking place across the City. The free concerts start at 6:30 p.m. at Faye's Field, located at 2850 Learning Campus Dr. Guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs, along with food and drinks. In case of inclement weather, concerts will be held inside the Bettendorf Public Library at 2950 Learning Campus Dr. 

Bettendorf Community Band

The Bettendorf Community Band’s Summer Concerts began Friday, June 7, and go through Friday, August 2 with a bonus performance on Thursday, July 4th as part of the City’s 4th of July festivities. All concerts are free and performed at the bandshell at Veterans Memorial Park, 1645 23rd St., starting at 7:30 p.m. Free ice cream will also be available. In case of inclement weather, concerts will not be held. The public will be notified by 6:30 p.m. that day on the Bettendorf Community Band’s Facebook page

Davenport

Big 9 Concert Series

The Riverfront Improvement Commission in partnership with the City of Davenport and Common Chord is hosting the Big 9 Summer Concert Series, replacing the former "Music on the River" series. Nine concerts are being held at various locations along Davenport's nine miles of riverfront.

Common Chord's Live at 5

This free summer concert series is presented by Common Chord. The show takes place every Friday from June 7 through August 30, from 5-7 p.m. in the Skybridge Courtyard in downtown Davenport. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring their own lawn chair. Outside beverages are not permitted, but food is allowed. Drinks will be available for purchase.

East Moline

Main Street Concert Series

Concerts presented by East Moline Main Street are held Sunday evenings from 5-8 p.m. at Runners' Park, located at 742 15th Ave.

Moline

Bass Street Landing 

The downtown concert series, located at 1601 River Dr., runs every Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. A solo or duo will kick off the show at 6 p.m., followed by the featured band from 7-9 p.m. The concert series is presented by the Moline Parks and Recreation Department and the Moline Centre Program.

Rock Island 

Starlight Revue

The 68th annual Rock Island Parks and Recreation concert series will kick off on Tuesday, June 4, featuring a diverse range of music genres. All shows will be held at Lincoln Park, located at 38th Street and 11th Avenue, and run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Thursday Night Groove

These concerts are presented by the Rock Island Parks and Recreation Department. They are held every Thursday at 6 p.m. at Schwiebert Park along the riverfront.
