ST. LOUIS — Grammy-winning R&B singer and St. Louis native SZA is teaming up with Grammy and Pulitzer Prize-winning rapper Kendrick Lamar for a highly anticipated 19-stadium tour that includes a stop in her hometown.
The "Grand National Tour" will make a stop at St. Louis' Dome at America's Center on Wednesday, June 4.
This tour marks a milestone in both artists' careers, with Lamar fresh off the surprise release of his album "GNX" on Nov. 22. The album, already generating buzz, features two tracks with SZA: "Luther" and "Gloria.
SZA, whose real name is Solána Imani Rowe, represented her hometown by sporting a custom St. Louis Blues jersey on the cover of her 2022 album "SOS." The album delivered chart-topping hits like "Good Days," "Kill Bill" and "I Hate U" and earned her three Grammy Awards.
It's not the first time SZA and Lamar have joined forces. They also collaborated on the Oscar and Grammy-nominated soundtrack for "Black Panther" (2018).
