BETTENDORF, Iowa — Editor's Note: The video above talks about the Movies in the Park promotion the city of Davenport reintroduced in 2023 after the pandemic.
The Bettendorf Parks and Recreation Department is hosting free movies in the park at the Veterans Memorial Park in Bettendorf at 1645 23rd Street, starting at sundown.
Movies and dates of the showings are:
- Saturday, June 8 - "Trolls" sponsored by The Tangled Wood
- Saturday, July 13 - "The Super Mario Bros. Movie" sponsored by K&K Hardware
- Saturday, August 10 - "Wish" sponsored by Friends of Bettendorf Parks & Recreation Foundation
- Saturday, September 14 - "Migration" sponsored by Blackhawk Bank & Trust
ALL movies are free and attendees are encouraged to bring their lawn chair or blanket, all ages are welcome.
