Drink mimosas and look at plants at Corn Crib Nursery
If you'd like to grab a drink with your mom on her special day, Corn Crib Nursery in Coal Valley has an event that's perfect for you.
The nursery will be serving margaritas on Saturday, May 11, and on Sunday, May 12 they'll swap to serving up mimosas. Food trucks will also be available so visitors can grab a bite to eat to accompany their drink of choice. While you're browsing for a new plant to add to your collection, you'll also be able to enjoy live music, as well.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. Corn Crib Nursery is located at 6924 US-150 in Coal Valley.
Explore artists' creations at Beaux Arts Fair
The spring Beaux Arts Fair has become a Mother's Day tradition, and it's back for another year in 2024. Browse paintings, photography, sculptures and more created by artists from around the Quad Cities Area.
The two-day fair will be open on May 11 and May 12. Hosted at the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds in Davenport, admission and parking for the event are both completely free.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Go shopping in downtown LeClaire
If a shopping spree sounds like your mom's perfect day, consider heading over to LeClaire for Mother's Day weekend.
Stores all over town will have specials your mother will love. Make your own candle scent at Buttercupp Candles, refresh your spring wardrobe with a trip to The Clothing Co, or just get your mom a free scoop of ice cream at Happy Joe's; the possibilities are endless!

Mother's Day Pop Up Air Plant Event with Doodads
Take a step back in time with a trip to Doodads' Mother's Day pop-up sale. You'll be able to make your mom a unique gift arrangement of air plants that's just as special as she is.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to noon on May 11. Doodads is located at 430 W 3rd Street in Davenport.
Handmade gift items being sold at Front Street Pub and Eatery, proceeds support mental health organization
Front Street Pub and Eatery in Davenport will have plenty of craft goods available for you and your mom to browse while you're grabbing a meal and a drink.
The pub will have handmade t-shirts, candy-stuffed mugs, canvas paintings and more for sale down in the beer cellar that are all as unique as Mom. Proceeds from the sales will benefit mental health causes around the Quad Cities.
The event runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on May 11. Front Street Pub & Eatery is located at 208 E. River Drive in Dvenport.
Dinner and Drag at the Diner
If your mom wants to see a show on her special day, the queens at The Diner in Davenport have you covered.
The restaurant will host a dinner and drag show on May 11, and all the mothers will attendance will get a complimentary mama-mosa to enjoy along with the performance.
