Kinna's House of Love hosting workshop for Quad Cities residents impacted by grief

The workshops will be held every 4th Saturday.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — Quad Citizens who are dealing with the loss of a friend or loved one can receive free assistance working through their grief.

On Saturday, Jan. 27, Kinna's House of Love will host a "Let's Talk About Grief & Loss" workshop. It will take place at TMBC Lincoln Center gym, located at 318 E 7th St. in Davenport from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is free to attend, and everything discussed is confidential. 

If you need support but can't make it this weekend, the workshops will be held every fourth Saturday.

Kinna Hodges, founder and CEO of Kinna's House of Love, will host the workshop alongside E. Fay Moore and Barb Robinson of Vera French Mental Health Center. Hodges joined The Current on Friday, Jan. 26 to discuss what participants will get out of the workshops. You can sign up for the upcoming session here.
