BETTENDORF, Iowa — The city of Bettendorf is inviting residents to the annual State of the City Address by Mayor Robert Gallagher on Feb. 21 at the Waterfront Convention Center.
According to a news release, Mayor Gallagher will give an update on how Bettendorf is achieving its long-term goals, which are:
- Remain a financially sound city that provides quality city services
- Have orderly growth and quality development
- Support riverfront/downtown development to create a destination for entertainment and living
- Grow current businesses and attract new businesses
- Be a premier place to live in the Quad Cities
Gallagher will give updates on these goals starting at 12:15 p.m. Doors open at 11 a.m., followed by a lunch at 12:30 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. Lunch is optional and costs $15, which can be prepaid online on the city website or paid for at the door.
