MOLINE, Ill. — Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at WQAD News 8! With the holiday, some of the programming on Channel 8 will be different on both Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24.

Here's what viewers can expect: 

Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 23

Good Morning Quad Cities at 11 a.m. will be replaced by the Magnificant Mile Lights Festival from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. 

There will be no The Current at 4 p.m. "Brewed: History In a Glass" will air from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and then The Score Football will have a special highlights show from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.

News 8 at 5, 6 and 10 p.m. will air like normal. 

Friday, Nov. 24

GMQC from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. will air like normal. 

Due to college football airing on News 8 starting at 11 a.m., there will be no GMQC at 11, The Current at 4 p.m. or News 8 at 5 and 6 p.m. News 8 at 10 will air but might go on late due to college football.
