MOLINE, Ill. — Joe is thrilled to join the Quad Cities as a reporter for WQAD News 8.
He is joining us from Philadelphia, PA... and you're probably wondering, "What’s he doing all the way over here?" Well, the West Philly native nearly spent his entire life in his hometown, where he also earned his bachelor's degree in journalism from Temple University. Joe has always been interested in exploring the world, taking on new experiences and listening to different perspectives. Enter the Midwest.
Joe is a proud dog dad to an Alaskan Husky-Pitbull beauty named Bella. She lights up his world, and the two take the world on together, one walk at a time.
There aren't many things Joe's more passionate about than sneakers. When he's not working, Joe's probably checking an upcoming release, losing his mind over a (very rare) SNKRS W or complimenting someone else's kicks.
One of Joe's favorite things to do, outside of playing basketball, is taking a trip to the movie theater. You can show the wanna-be film critic an upcoming trailer - good or bad - and he's already buying tickets. A few of his favorite movies of all-time are Howl's Moving Castle, Oppenheimer and any of the Planet of the Ape films - especially the originals!
