WEST BRANCH, Iowa– UPDATE: Both lanes have since been reopened to traffic.
ORIGINAL STORY: Several crashes caused by icy conditions closed both eastbound and westbound lanes on Interstate 80.
I-80 is closed between Exit 254: Country Road X-30 and Exit 259: Country Road X-40, near West Branch, Iowa.
Numerous crashes are being reported.
Traffic along the I-80 Durant Exit to Cedar River Bridge is also delayed.
