GMQC HALLO-WEEK: Day 1 Provides Snacks and Sips for Your Halloween Party

Happy Hallo-Week Quad Cities!

Every year, Good Morning Quad Cities provides you with fun - and sometimes spooky - segments to celebrate Halloween.

For Day 1 of Hallo-Week, we brought Nailed It or Failed It and Cocktail of the Week to the early morning hours to show you some easy recipes for any upcoming Halloween parties you are hosting or attending.

There are tons of cute ideas on this blog, but the ones we tried on Monday, October 28th were the Witches Brooms and Bat Bites. You don't need a lot of ingredients for these delicious crafts - just Reese's miniatures, pretzel sticks, Twizzlers, Oreos, and candy eyeballs. Click the video above to see how we used all those treats to create some really cute - and tasty! - desserts.

If you were watching Good Morning Quad Cities, you also saw us almost catch the kitchen on fire with these Spooky S'mores Bars. NOTE! Keep an eye on the oven! As soon as they start turning golden brown, take them out... unless you like your marshmallows burnt to a crisp. If they do burn, do what Eric did - and just scrape off the burnt layer. They don't look like cute little marshmallows ghosts anymore, but still yummy!

To celebrate the end of Day 1 of Hallo-Week, we mixed up a spooky cocktail that might make you squirm! It's a Bloody Morgue-A-Rita and the last step is the best part - your guests will love it when you drop that ice cube into the drink! Take a look below:
