ILLINOIS- This year's Illinois State Fair brought in a record amount of money.
Officials say revenue from the fair reached $6.5 million. That's $1 million more than the previous record from 2013.
It was also a record-setting year for ticket sales at the grandstand reaching $2.3 million.
