LEE COUNTY, Iowa- A manhunt in Lee County ended about five days after the sheriff’s department warned the public to be on the lookout.
On Tuesday, May 14, authorities announced that Skylar Stark, who was wanted for robbery and burglary, had been taken into custody. The sheriff’s department first put out a warning about him on Thursday, May 9.
A Facebook post warned the public that Stark was “considered dangerous” and residents were urged to “lock their cars and to report anyone walking on the gravel roads or suspicious cars coming into the area.”
There was no word on the specifics of his arrest.
