ROCK ISLAND- More than 50 people took an oath to become official US citizens in Rock Island on Wednesday April 25.
The group represented 14 different countries.
The naturalization ceremony was held in Davenport, but the new citizens are residents of Rock Island County.
The courtroom was full of friends and family celebrating the day.
The majority of the new citizens taking the oath came from Mexico.
