Morrison residents vote no on referendum for police funding

MORRISON, Illinois -- Voters decided not to increase the tax levy to increase funding for police.

The proposition lost with 55.26% of voters saying no.

The levy would have increased to a maximum of .225% of the value of all taxable property in the city.
