MOLINE, Illinois -- An East Moline man died after an accident at a gun range, according to police.
Police said a man was handling a glock .40 cal. at Shooting Sports Saturday morning, March 2 when the gun discharged. He was taken to the hospital.
Detective Jon Leach with the Moline Police Department told News 8 that the man later died.
The man was identified as 31-year-old Evan Martin from East Moline, according to Rock Island County Coroner Brian Gustafson. Martin died of a single gunshot wound.
Nobody else was involved in the incident, said Detective Leach.
