On Tuesday, February 19th during Good Morning Quad Cities, Dietitian Caitlyn Ferin from Fareway Food Stores explained what the difference is between prebiotics and probiotics and how the two work together to keep your digestive tract in tip-top shape, as well as your immune system.

"About 70 percent of your immunity actually comes from your digestive tract," Ferin said.

Probiotics are microscopic organisms that are good for your digestive tract.
