What cities have declared snow emergencies?

More snow means more snow emergencies. Will you be affected by the snow?

As more snow comes in to town multiple Quad City area cities have declared snow emergencies. Check below to see if your hometown is on the list.

  • Andalusia- A snow emergency will be in effect until midnight Monday.
  • Blue Grass- A snow emergency is in effect from 12 a.m. February 17 to 12 p.m. on February 18. The city asks to keep cars off the street and remove trash bins from the street as soon as possible.
  • Carbon Cliff- A snow emergency is in effect from midnight February 16 to February 19. All vehicles not off the street will be ticketed and towed.
  • Coal Valley- A snow emergency is in effect starting midnight February 16 until snow has stopped and streets are clear. Cars should be taken off streets, avenues, alleys, cul de sacs or parking lots within the village.
  • Davenport- A snow emergency will go into effect at 10 p.m. February 16 until 6 a.m. February 18. Vehicles parked on snow routes may be ticketed and towed.
  • Durant- A snow emergency is in effect from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. February 17.
  • Eldridge- A snow emergency is in effect from 10 p.m. February 16 until 6 a.m. February 18. Cars should be removed from city streets to allow plowing.
  • Rock Island- A snow emergency is in effect starting 12 a.m. February 17. Cars cannot park on snow routes until the snow has stopped and the roads are cleared. Cars violating parking rules may be ticketed and towed.
  • Sterling- A snow emergency is in effect starting February 17th at 12 p.m. Cars violating parking rules will be ticketed and towed.
