Photos: Ice storm crystallizes the landscape

An ice storm blew through the Midwest on Monday, Feb. 11 through Tuesday, Feb. 12.

Road conditions became treacherous and thousands of residents were without power. Several morning flights in and out of the Quad City International Airport and Eastern Iowa Airport were delayed and cancelled.

Ice also flocked trees and other objects creating up to an inch in diameter of ice around branches. Some people also experienced damage. See the gallery above.
