Update: The boil order has been lifted for the City of Mt. Carroll
MOUNT CARROLL, Illinois- A boil order for the entire city of Mount Carroll is in effect until further notice.
Residents of Mount Carroll are advised to boil their water before drinking, washing fruit, brushing your teeth, and cleaning dishes. It is OK to shower during a boil order so long as you take care not to swallow any water.
