CAMANCHE, Iowa -- Camanche fire chief Dave Schutte presented firefighter Adam Cain with a check for over $1,000.

The Camanche Fire Department had raised money by selling red lights and through other donations.   On February 3, Camanche's fire chief presented Cain with the check.

Cain was injured on the job in early January, while battling a fire at ADM in Clinton.

Cain was injured in the same fire that took the life of Lieutenant Eric Hosette.
