A police officer near Chicago had a close call at a train crossing.

Dash camera video caught it all, all the gates and warning lights failed to activate.

The police officer barely managed to swerve in time and the train missed his squad car. Two other vehicles came within seconds of being hit.

Metra blames the issue on an electrical short, and says the problem has been fixed.
