Police are working to determine if a medical condition may have contributed to the crash.

McClintock was from Pleasant Valley and owned Boozies Bar & Grill, according to an employee at the restaurant.  The restaurant posted about the loss on their Facebook page.  They said "The Quad Cities lost a good soul..." and said "His spirit will live on through his family and through Boozies and through the wonderful customers that he loved to serve over the many years."

McClintock ran Boozies for 11 years, according to his obituary.  He graduated in 1987 from Prophetstown High School and was active in helping local colleges.  He was also a sports fan, supporting the Cubs, Bears and Iowa Hawkeyes.

Memorial services were held Wednesday, January 2.
