Bill Clinton visits the QC ahead of 1992 presidential election

DAVENPORT, Iowa -- Back in October of 1992, Bill Clinton visited the Quad Cities.

"If ever a state should vote for the Clinton Gore ticket, Iowa should," Clinton said during his visit.

He told John David that his plan was to rebuild a manufacturing base in Iowa, adding that he understood Iowa's problems and its promise.
