MOLINE, Illinois -- Registration has opened for Toys for Tots.
Registration goes from November 1 through December 1. Parents and guardians can get their kids signed up Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Distribution will be on December 15 and 16 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. An additional distribution day may be held December 17 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The Toys for Tots warehouse is at 1 Blackwell Boulevard in Moline, in the old KONE elevator building under the I-74 Bridge.
WQAD News 8 had a collection day on Tuesday, November 27, from 5 a.m. until 7 p.m. The public was invited to bring unwrapped toys for boys and girls ages 6 months through 12 years old.
The following toys cannot be accepted for donation: Clothes, stuffed animals, realistic weapons (Nerf guns are OK), or religious items.
