DAVENPORT, Iowa -- A 60-year-old pedestrian is recovering after being hit by a semi-truck on Interstate 80.
Davenport Police said the 60-year-old man had gotten out of a vehicle parked on the south side of I-80 when a passing semi hit him. He was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Davenport pedestrian was hit around 12:15 p.m. Thursday, August 13 in the eastbound lanes, police said. Traffic was down to one lane near the Division Street overpass until shortly after 1 p.m.
