UPDATE: Juveniles arrested for gun crimes after police chase in Davenport

UPDATE: DAVENPORT, Iowa — Two juveniles have been arrested following an investigation into shots fired two days before.

On Sept. 11, police located a vehicle that was tied to gun crimes around Waverly and Telegraph Roads in Davenport. The car was driving on the wrong side of the road. Police chased the car onto I-280, and eventually Kimberly Road, where it struck another vehicle. Police were finally able to stop the car and arrest the suspects.

These suspects are linked to a shots fired call two days earlier that left a house in Davenport marked with bullet holes.

Both juveniles are charged with weapon intimidation and armed with intent. They were taken to the Scott County Jail.

EARLIER: A house is marked with bullets after an unknown shooter fired in a neighborhood yesterday.

According to a press release, police responded at 4:10 p.m. to shots fired on Monday, September 10. When they arrived at the 2400 block of W Pleasant Street, they found several shell casings in the middle of the street. A house in the neighborhood sustained damages from the shooting.

No one was reported injured.

Police say they are investigating, but no other information is available.
