UPDATE: Prophetstown boil order lifted Thursday morning

UPDATE: The boil order has been lifted as of June 28th, 2018, 8:41 a.m.

PROPHETSTOWN, Illinois — A boil order is in effect for the city of Prophetstown until further notice. The advisory went into effect on Wednesday, June 27th and is expected to last for at least two days.

The city had also shut off its water for a few minutes around 8 a.m. on Wednesday.
