Abducted Clinton County boys found in Moline; Amber Alert canceled

Two small boys from Toronto, Iowa, who were abducted by their father Monday night were found in Moline this morning.

UPDATE (7:00 a.m.): Two small boys from Toronto, Iowa, who were abducted by their father just before 9 p.m. Monday night were found by police officers at an apartment complex Tuesday, April 17th morning at 2:52 a.m.

According to the Clinton County Sheriff, Taylor Jason Milroy had recently lost custody of the boys and had made statements about harming them, causing authorities to issue an Amber Alert early Tuesday morning.

The children were reunited with their mother, Aubrie O'Haver, who told police that she and the father, had been grocery shopping. As she was unloading groceries from her vehicle, the father drove off with the boys still in the car.

As of 3 p.m., Milroy has not been arrested or charged, but the Clinton County Sheriff says there will be a meeting with the county attorney to discuss if and what charges will be filed.

ORIGINAL STORY: TORONTO, Iowa -- Police have issued an Amber Alert after they say two children, Bryson Milroy (4)Braxton Milroy (2), were abducted in Clinton County. They say Taylor Jason Milroy took his two sons from their home around 9:00 p.m. Monday, April 16. He does not have custody of either of the boys.

Milroy is believed to be driving a silver 2006 Hyundai Sonata with the Illinois license plate number V809407. Police also say they believe he is heading to Colona, Illinois.

The missing boys are two and four years old.
