NAILED IT OR FAILED IT: Bringing spring inside (because it’s not outside)

This is an archived article and the information in the article may be outdated. Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated.

Eventually, it will be Spring... right? For now though, we're tracking more cold temperatures and even snow. SO - I chose a craft that a) you can make indoors so there's no chance of going outside, b) only requires three items that you probably already have, and c) is easy to make... hopefully.

During our weekly Nailed It Or Failed It Segment on WQAD News 8 at 11am on Friday, April 6th, 2018 - Jon, Taylor, and I attempted to create this Spring Wreath with paper, glue, and cardboard. Click the video above to see how to put all three of those things together and click the video below to see if it actually worked.

As a special treat - and to give her a break from forecasting this horrible weather - Taylor stepped in to make our Cocktail of the Week! Here's the recipe for a pitcher of some Spiked Arnold Palmer using our Kentucky girl's favorite Kentucky bourbon! You can find more information on the recipe on theĀ  Food Network's website.

2 Cups Iced Tea

2 Cups Water

1/2 Cup Lemon Juice

1 Cup Simple Syrup

1 Cup Bourbon
