DAVENPORT, Iowa -- A new restaurant could open by summer of 2018 in the Freight House Farmer's Market downtown.
The Italian restaurant Giovanni's set out to open a restaurant in a corner of the Freight House building.
In late January, the Riverfront Improvement Commission went over a lease agreement. It's a three-year deal that would allow the business to move in at the beginning of March.
