Fire at Captain’s Table closes portion of River Drive in Moline

MOLINE, Illinois -- Firefighters were called to a structure fire at the Captain's Table on River Drive around 11 p.m. Monday, January 15th.

Crews spent more than two hours fighting the fire.

There have been no reported injuries and the restaurant took to Facebook to notify followers that "everyone is safe."

River Drive traffic was being rerouted at 41st Street and 55th Street.  As of 9:15 a.m., only residents who live between the 4100 block and 5400 block of River Driver were being allowed through the area.  The roadway was reopened during the afternoon.

The Captain's Table had been closed for renovations and planned to reopen in February.
