I-74 reopens after crash in Illinois-bound lanes

MOLINE, Illinois — A crash has blocked traffic on Interstate 74.  It happened early Tuesday morning, January 2nd.

Officials closed down the Illinois-bound lanes of I-74 and are diverting traffic to State Street on the Iowa side; this is according to a spokesperson from the Moline Police Department.


Traffic cameras from the Iowa Department of Transportation show emergency vehicles on scene on I-74 near 5th Avenue.

As of 7:42 a.m. the Iowa Department of Transportation reported the roadway was reopened to traffic.
