A 47-year-old man was taken to the hospital with upper body injuries.

EAST MOLINE, Illinois -- East Moline Police are investigating a shooting that sent one man to the hospital.

According to police, the shooting happened around midnight on Sunday, December 17, at a home in the 2600 block of 6th Street.

A 47-year-old man was taken to the hospital with upper body injuries.

Detectives say they have a suspect and are working the case, but they have not released a name at this time.
