ILLINOIS -- The state is looking for former service members who went above and beyond the call of duty, as part of the Illinois bicentennial celebration.
Two hundred nominees will be honored at an event in Chicago next month celebrating Illinois' 200th birthday.
Anyone can nominate a veteran, just send your written nomination to the Illinois Department of Veteran Affairs.
