DAVENPORT, Iowa -- A Davenport man with a lengthy arrest record, including failure to register as a sex offender, has been arrested in connection with the Nov. 6 robbery at a Mt. Joy gas station that injured one of the store's employees.

Seith W. Keith, 30, was arrested Tuesday afternoon by Davenport police at the intersection of E. Locust and Iowa streets. Police say Keith was on parole at the time and had a GPS ankle monitor that showed he was at the BP in Mt. Joy at the time of the robbery.

He was on parole from serving time for a 2013 drug charge and a concurrent burglary charge.

Keith remains in the Scott County Jail.

The robbery happened at the Mt. Joy BP/Amoco gas station at Brady Street and East 90th Street on Monday, November 6 around 9 p.m., according to a statement from Sgt. Josh Wall with the Scott County Sheriff's Office.

"An employee of the BP/Amoco did sustain minor injuries during the robbery," read Wall's statement.
