Among so many men on the 41st Honor Flight, there were a few females on the journey.

Lorraine and Laurie were on the August 31st trip as veterans and spent the day with their guardian Melissa.  A third female veteran, Glenda, served as a guardian on the trip.

At the Women In Military Service For America Memorial, the three toured through the halls and reminisced on their service days.

Hy-Vee and its employees worked to sponsor and organize the Honor Flight for Quad Cities area veterans.
