DAVENPORT -- Drivers can expect a detour on part of River Drive in Davenport for sinkhole repairs.
The sinkhole, located between Brown and Gaines Streets, opened up before the Mississippi River began to flood so workers were forced to cover it with a metal plate.
Work is expected to wrap up by the end of August.
