ROCK ISLAND- A Davenport man was arrested in Illinois after allegedly participating in a drive-by shooting in the 1100 block of 8th Street in Davenport.
Keyshawn Reed, 29, was apprehended after a short foot chase in Rock Island after police disabled his vehicle with spiked stop sticks. Reed had fled from officers after witnesses identified him as the person who fired shots on 8th Street at around 12:36 a.m. Officers attempted to stop Reed after his vehicle was spotted, but he fled the scene, eventually driving over the I-280 bridge into Rock Island.
Reed is currently in custody at the Rock Island County Jail, pending extradition to Iowa.
Non one was injured in the incident.
