Angie loves high heels. She really does. She wears them every day because Jonathan is about a foot taller than her (that’s why she has to stand on a box whenever they’re standing next to each other). However, she doesn’t think you should have to deal with the aches and pains of them until your age is in the double digits. That’s why she’s against these (plus the new menu item at Starbucks that may help cure the common cold):

Meanwhile, we discovered an app that we on Good Morning Quad Cities should probably download to help us wake up at 2am. You might want to consider downloading it, too. However, you may want to destroy your phone once you do so… so yeah, take your pick:

Finally, as you can see from the screen shot above, Eric really loves pastries… especially the ones at Innkeeper’s Coffee in Galesburg, Illinois – which graciously hosted him and Galesburg School District Superintendent Ralph Grimm for our weekly “Breakfast With…” segment. For that reason, and that reason alone, Angie put together a collage of Eric’s best shots with baked goods:
